First thing first, happy weekend! I am very glad weekend is here, despite the fact that I'll be having my tests for Economics, Mathematics and Psychology this coming Monday and Tuesday, I am very much content with the two days off from college. On top of that, my family is coming to KL on Wednesday, so I will probably have a sweet and divine time after the tests which have been stressing me out the past few days. Like seriously, I am juggling time to do the homework, to keep up with my readings, and to study. Australian Matriculatian (AUSMAT) is all about consistency which I find hard when it always feel like I am running out of time. Rhetorically, I feel like 24 hours per day, and 7 days a week, are somewhat meager.
But looking through rose-tinted glass, this exhaustion, this stress, all the more reasons for me to keep moving on and never give up for good things always await for those who are patient. So anywho, today I went to my very first bazaar! A vintage bazaar! The bazaar was under Stella, an online shop, which also featured other online shops and Maysaa. It was at the 10th floor of SoHo, Empire, Subang Jaya. It was like a small studio, which I think was pretty much chic and cute. I have also met the owners of the shops, and they were all of sweet and lovely people.
Although I have promised not to shop, not until April or May, I have well excused myself for today, because you know with all the tests and college workloads and peer pressure, I need to pamper myself with things that make me happy, which in this case, clothes. You girls sure get what I mean, no? So I went to the bazaar with Iya, and yes I bought some nice clothes and I am a happy girl now, teeheeeheee. I wore a cream blouse from MNG, black skinny jeans from MNG, and a bright deep blue-ish green pashmina. Initially put on my black velvet pumps, then changed to my brown flats because I am indecisive like that. Plus the heels were a bit big, need to add on what-thingy-you-put-at-the-back-of-your-heels-to-make-your-shoes-tighter, which I will do soon.
So, at the end of the day, I bought hm one floral vintage boyfriend blazer, one white vintage blouse, one black blouse that has that thing you can tie into a ribbon or bow, one bright striking mustard yellow satin blouse, one vintage batik-ish blouse, one lace cropped top, and a lovely patterned cotton scarf. Which are all lovely!
So I'm going to stop now, and give a way for pictures!
And yes, it was a lovely place.
This was like my first bazaar, because I don't know why. I have always wanted to go to bazaars but every time there is one, I always end up being in a middle of something. So glad to make it to this Stellar Vintage Bazaar. I am definitely looking forward for more events like this in future!
On a different note, behind all this I-am-a-happy-girl-because-I-just-shopped, I am feeling very much upset and discontent with what's happening in Japan now. The earthquake, the tsunami, the losing of lives, and the losing of people you love, everything are upsetting me, it's like very very, very...sad.
My heart, prayers and thoughts definitely go out to everyone who are affected by this tragedy. May God gives you people strength and courage to go through all this calamity and catastrophe. ♥
Till then, have a blessed weekend ahead!
